Kellygreen Home is all about helping our customers consume with a conscience when it comes to functional, decorative goods for the home, family and everyday lifestyle. We like to think of ourselves as a general mercantile for green home goods and want to make it easy to shop and feel comfortable knowing that each product has been carefully researched and is in one convenient location.
Although we like to encourage our customers to consume less, our hope is to inspire all to choose well designed items that can last a long time and still be fashionable years down the line, hence the tagline “high design, low impact”. We aspire to offer products that follow a “cradle-to-cradle” philosophy and can easily be recycled, up-cycled, reused or are biodegradable once they have served their purpose and are no longer useful . We love to feature products that are fairly-traded, from cooperatives around the world that help others help themselves, or that help to make the world a better place. And of course, we try to feature locally manufactured items from Los Angeles, California and other parts of the United States, but we understand that some items are only available from overseas, so we try to find the best products that fit our prerequisites. There will always be varying degrees of “greenness” and believe it or not, some things from other parts of the world can still have a smaller footprint than things made right here in the USA, but we hope that one day, we can buy all American made goods.
We are always open to hearing from you with comments or suggestions. Please direct them to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you want to hear more about the latest things going on with us and in the green realm, please sign up for our newsletter.
Thanks so much for visiting and if you are in Los Angeles, come by and visit us in person at either one of our locations in Santa Monica (westside) or Echo Park (eastside) . We love to chat and hear what is going on with all the folks visiting as well as those that live in our hood.
