Kellygreen Home tries to be as low-impact as possible when it comes to shipping and packing materials. We make every effort to reuse and recycle boxes, wrap and padding from shipments but doing so in an artful and efficient way. All of our tissue and shopping bags are made of 100% PCW (post consumer waste) and we try to encourage all our vendors to do the same. If we receive non-green packaging (polystyrene “peanuts” or bubble wrap) from vendors then we will reuse as much as possible and encourage you to do the same. It is easier than you may think to recycle packing materials as most retail packing and shipping stores, like Mailboxes Etc., are glad to accept any packing materials for reuse on future shipments, so we hope you will do everything you can to keep these items out of the landfills. We know that there is a debate on the greenness of E-commerce so we are always trying to figure out better ways to change that paradigm.
We are required to charge 8.75% sales tax to all items going to a California address.
Shipping Costs / Ship Time
Currently, we are offering free domestic shipping within the contiguous USA for orders $150 or more and a flat rate of $9.99 for orders $149.99 or less. Our shipping costs are typically based on the actual shipping cost, plus a small fee for the preparation of customs documents if going overseas. Typically orders will ship within 48 hours, but shipment times on special orders and back ordered items can vary. If we cannot ship within 48 hours we will inform you with the new shipment details via email. If an item is considered to be bulky, oversized or overweight, we reserve the right to modify the shipping charges, but in most cases, that will be noted in the product information. If there are any changes, you would be notified via email.
Kellygreen Home ships to most countries but there are exceptions where this is no solid postal infrastructure or where the USA has placed export restrictions. Kellygreen Home may not legally misrepresent the customs values of packages, nor are we responsible for customs charges levied by the customs of the destination country. We reserve the right to contact you for further information, especially on large orders, we reserve the right to request written / faxed / emailed confirmation of your order. Therefore, it is important that your contact information is correct when placing the order.
We ship by International Priority Mail, which generally takes between 7-14 days depending on the destination. While we have found this method to be the most reliable and cost effective, we are not responsible for delays caused by foreign customs or mail carriers. Our shipping costs are based on the actual shipping cost, plus a small fee for the preparation of customs documents. We will email tracking information at the time of shipment. This tracking information is accurate until the package leaves the USA. After that time delivery is dependent on the destination country’s reporting. The USA no longer has “surface” or “economy” shipping rates. In some cases, we can arrange to ship via Express Mail (USPS), FedEx, UPS, DHL and Air and Ocean Freight. Typically these methods are substantially more expensive and are best utilized for larger shipments. Returns on international purchases must be done within 6 weeks of the verified delivery date and in the original condition with original receipt, packing, inserts, tags, etc. We also ask that you email prior to returning item/s to ensure all necessary procedures are followed to facilitate the return.
